Sports and leisure center

The sports and leisure center was built in 2003 by the city of Bad Aussee. It was planned by the architectural office «Hohensinn» to meet the demand for a multi-purpose, economically, organizationally and energetically optimized building for soccer and other clubs conducting sports. It includes arenas for track and field athletics, fields for soccer, basketball and German curling, a fitness room, a skate park and a bistro. The tribunes hold 3’000 visitors.
In 2003 the center received the Styrian award for timber construction in the category «public buildings».
