A guide to the Alpine ConventionApr 23, 2009
The Permanent Secretariat of the Alpine Convention recently published a book in five languages (de, en, fr, it, sl) entitled The Alps: Eight Countries, A Single Territory. The book in two parts reports on the Alpine Convention as well as its objectives and the implementation tools at its disposal. It also features the Alliance in the Alps network of municipalities, ALPARC, the Alpine Town of the Year Association, and Via Alpina. These networks were formed to implement the strategic principles of the Alpine Convention. The richly illustrated book with its concise articles is a highly recommended guide to the Alpine Convention. |
